Position: Marketing & Communications Intern

Working term: December 2025 to June 12, 2026

Duties and Responsibilities

Graphic Design:

  • Create visually appealing graphics for various digital and print materials including social media

posts, newsletters, flyers, and promotional materials.

  • Assist in designing layouts for school publications and brochures.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent visual brand identity across all marketing materials.

Web Content Management:

  • Update and maintain the school's website content to ensure information is accurate, engaging,

and up-to-date.

  • Upload and manage multimedia content (photos, videos, etc.) on the website and internal portals.
  • Assist in creating and editing web pages using the school's content management system (CMS).

Internal Portal Updates:

  • Manage content updates on internal communication portals to ensure staff, students, and parents

have access to current and relevant information.

  • Assist in the development of new content for internal communications.
  • Social Media Assistance

Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns.

  • Create engaging social media content that aligns with the school's brand and marketing goals.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.

Events

  • Assist in event planning and execution

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with the MarComs team to support various marketing and communication projects.

  • Provide creative input and support for upcoming marketing campaigns and events.

  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Position Requirements

Educational Background: Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Graphic Design,

Marketing, Communications, Digital Media).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,

InDesign).

  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and basic HTML/CSS

knowledge.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and tools for content creation and scheduling (e.g.,

Hootsuite, Canva).

Creative Skills:

  • Strong eye for design and attention to detail.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and cohesive graphics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Professional Attributes:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
