D365 Business Central - Technical Consultant
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Workplace Type: Hybrid
About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to join our dynamic team in Ho Chi Minh City. As a Technical Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing, customizing, and supporting D365 Business Central solutions for our clients. You will work closely with functional consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of D365 Business Central architecture, development tools, and best practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing and customizing D365 Business Central solutions in various industries. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance, developing custom solutions, and troubleshooting issues to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' D365 Business Central environments. Key Responsibilities
  • Consulting – covering all aspects; including analysis, development, implementation, and training of end users utilizing primarily Dynamics NAV/Business Central
  • Business and process analysis strong functional expertise in the Finance module of Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV), with a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Manage data migration related to items, vendors, customers, and inventory.
  • Documenting 'as-is' and 'to-be' within accurate and detailed scoping documents
  • Liaising with developers and clients – act as a point of communication
  • Ensure smooth integration of SCM modules with Finance and other related modules.
  • Conduct user training, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and provide post-implementation support.
  • Quality Assurance & Documentation

Knowledge and Expertise:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in implementing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV
  • Strong proficiency in AL language and D365 Business Central development tools.
  • Experience with D365 Business Central configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Solid understanding of D365 Business Central architecture and modules.
  • Experience with data migration and integration tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication (Vietnamese and English) and problem-solving skills

Preferred:
  • Exposure to Power BI, Jet Reports, or other Business Central reporting tools is preferred.
  • Microsoft SQL Server understanding
  • Azure administration understanding
  • Ability to create high quality functional documentation and strong requirements gathering skills.
  • Highly confident with providing support and training to users
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to customers
