Position Overview:
We're seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Appointment Setter to join our sales team. This role is perfect for someone who excels at building connections through written and verbal communication, enjoys the challenge of cold outreach, and understands the importance of long-term relationship nurturing. This role requires excellent spoken English, strong resilience when facing rejection, and the ability to connect directly with business decision-makers.
You will be responsible for outbound calling, lead qualification, and appointment scheduling for our sales team. The ideal candidate thrives in a sales-driven environment, and can confidently communicate value to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and nurture our existing mailing list through strategic email campaigns
• Conduct cold email outreach to new prospects using the provided lead lists
• Make outbound calls to prospects to introduce our services and qualify leads
• Develop and maintain systematic follow-up schedules, reconnecting with prospects every 3 months
• Write compelling, personalized emails that generate responses and build relationships
• Track all prospect interactions and maintain detailed records in our CRM system
• Schedule qualified appointments between prospects and our sales team
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential clients through consistent, value-driven communication
• Research prospects and companies to personalize outreach efforts
• Meet or exceed monthly appointment setting targets
• Achieve and exceed the monthly KPI of 20 qualified meetings.
Required Qualifications:
• Exceptional English Communication: Fluent written and verbal English skills with clear, professional pronunciation (no Vietnamese accent required for this role)
• Sales Acumen: Basic understanding of sales principles, lead qualification, and the sales process
• Writing Skills: Ability to craft engaging, persuasive emails that prompt responses and build rapport
• Relationship Building: Natural ability to connect with people and maintain professional relationships over time
• Persistence: Comfortable with cold outreach and rejection; maintains positive attitude through follow-up cycles
• Organization: Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple prospect relationships simultaneously
• Technology Proficient: Comfortable learning new CRM systems, email platforms, and sales tools
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience calling Australian businesses.
• Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospect research and outreach
• Previous appointment setting or inside sales experience
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CRM systems
• Understanding of B2B sales cycles and decision-making processes
• Experience in media, marketing, or related industry
