Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.

Job Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Compile and update database of lists for Exhibitor Promotion.
  2. Work with Manager to liaise with suppliers to make sure all work is done. Raise tickets for payment and follow up payment schedule to suppliers.
  3. Work with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure event reports are generated in a timely manner
  4. Translate promotion materials from English to Vietnamese and vice versa
  5. Set up Site office at the exhibition and manage the front desk to assist Exhibitors with any problems, provide a professional welcome for them, ensure housekeeping, manage petty cash, and assist Operations Department to do verification of orders and other on-site duties.
  6. Handle post-show activities which include thank-you letters to Exhibitors and associations, etc.
  7. Maintain an effective and accurate filing system including archive files.
  8. Provide secretariat support to Manager including setting up the meetings, market research, taking minutes of meetings.  
  9. Support Sales team for customer service satisfaction. Build core database, and take care of Business matching Buyer program by working closely with marketing team and event team.
  10. Support sales team to carry on exhibitor promotion activities and materials including organizing side events, roadshows, etc.
  11. Support line manager on pre-event, onsite and post-event marketing activities and visitor promotion programs by working closely with marketing team.
  12. Basic marketing support such as: upload basic content provided by marketing team (announcements, news updates, images, monitor fanpage, website, tiktok…). Create basic content using share tools, AI
  13. Prepare reports, analytics which assigned by line manager.
  14. Other tasks assigned by line manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration/ marketing/ event management or equivalence.
  • At least 1 years of working experience in the related field is required for the position
  • Previous working experience in the event industry would be an advantage.
  • English and Vietnamese fluency both written and spoken.
  • Project management skills: The employee needs to be good at managing time and working to deadlines.
  • Good team player with pro-activeness and self-motivation.
  • Experienced in marketing is a plus
  • Be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
