We're looking for a sharp, hands-on Accountant to join our growing team at Coinhako You'll support daily finance operations, manage AP/AR, handle reconciliations, and help drive smooth month-end closings. What you'll be doing:

  • 1. Financial Operations

    • Support daily and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.

    • Assist with sub-account and month-end closings.

    • Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for financial statements and audit purposes.

    2. Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Process vendor invoices, manage payment cycles, and reconcile statements.

    • Handle AP accruals at month-end.

    • Issue invoices, track payments, manage collections, and perform AR reconciliations and reporting.

    3. Cryptocurrency & Transaction Management

    • Process and verify cryptocurrency transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

    • Reconcile cryptocurrency wallets and related accounts.

    • Work with liquidity providers on transaction postings and settlements.

    4. Compliance, Auditing & Process Improvement

    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant industry policies.

    • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis.

    • Streamline workflows through automation and accounting software tools.

    • Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and financial procedures.

    5. Financial Analysis & Cross-Functional Support

    • Provide financial analysis and insights to management and other teams.

    • Support ad-hoc finance projects as assigned.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in fintech or cryptocurrency sector preferred.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, or other cloud-based systems).

  • Strong skills in MS Office / Google Suite, especially Excel.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Highly motivated, proactive, and adaptable to new technologies.

  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
