We are looking for a Accountant to join our service team in District 3, HCMC. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily accounting operations, reviewing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations for a portfolio of multinational and local clients. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full set of accounting for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Review and supervise bookkeeping and data entries into accounting software (e.g. MISA) completed by junior accountants.
  • Ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), tax laws, and internal control policies.
  • Prepare, review and submit monthly/quarterly/annual tax declarations: VAT, PIT, CIT.
  • Support statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities when required.
  • Prepare management reports, financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget forecasts.
  • Advise clients on accounting and tax compliance matters; identify and communicate any potential risks.
  • Handle complex accounting issues such as intercompany transactions, deferred tax, or foreign currency revaluations.
  • Maintain and update accounting records, including accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and journal entries.
  • Ensure proper documentation, financial confidentiality, and backup of accounting databases.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior accountants or interns in the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in accounting, with at least 1–2 years in a senior role.
  • Strong understanding of VAS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in MISA and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent English (written and verbal).
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Preferable: experience in an accounting services firm, audit/tax advisory, or BPO environment.
