Senior Civil Team Leader

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and review civil systems, including BIM modeling, drawings, schedules, specifications, calculations, and related tasks.
• Lead detailed design efforts for large-scale infrastructure projects, including bridges, tunnels, and transportation systems.
• Ensure project quality by thoroughly reviewing digital and physical drawings while adhering to Atlas TAP and QMS procedures.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues, providing recommendations to senior project members as needed.
• Lead and mentor a team of 8+ engineers and technical staff across multiple projects, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Resolve conflicts, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities effectively to meet project milestones.
• Oversee the civil design, modelling, and documentation scope of multiple projects, managing the planning, execution, budgeting, and delivery to meet client expectations.
• Allocate resources efficiently while ensuring adherence to quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) protocols.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, participate in project meetings, and support contract negotiations.
• Assist in proposal preparation, cost estimate, and manage contracts.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support project and organizational objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

• B.Sc., or above in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in civil modeling and documentation with at least 4 years in project coordination & management.
• Proven ability to lead large teams for detailed design and documentation of large-scale/complex projects.
• Experience with complex, large-scale infrastructure projects such as bridges, tunnels, transportation systems, water systems or urban development.
• Track record in international regulatory environments. (eg. UK, AU)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, Civil 3D, 12D, Bluebeam, Or Microstation.
• Proficiency with BIM platforms: Navisworks, InfraWorks, BIM 360, Revizto, Trimble Connect.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reports.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.

Other Requirements:

1. Technical Knowledge:

• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, international codes, and standards (Eurocodes, AASHTO, ASTM, AS).
• Strong knowledge in construction and design/drafting standards, regulations, and specifications of offshore civil engineering projects (rail, municipal, transportation, land development, water)
• Proficiency in constructability reviews and modelling/drafting.

2. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Experience in leading teams of 8+ engineers and technical staff across multiple projects.
• Skilled in conflict resolution, task prioritization, and delegation.

3. Project Management

• Experience in managing the civil modeling scope of multiple projects, including planning, execution, budget and delivery.
• Proficiency in resource allocation and QA/QC adherence.

4. Client Relationship Management:

• Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction and feedback implementation.
• Confident in representing the team during client presentations and meetings.
