Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Accountant position, based in Quan Lan Island. The Chief Accountant will oversee the financial management, compliance, and reporting functions of the resort. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing budgets, ensuring tax compliance, supervising accounting staff, and developing internal financial processes. The role requires close collaboration with department heads to support decision-making and maintain financial health.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and financial management skills, including proficiency in preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and analyzing financial data.
• Proven experience with tax regulations, compliance, financial audits, and internal controls.
• Competence in leading teams, supervising accounting staff, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a strong advantage.
• Experience within the hospitality industry or similar enterprises is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
