Delivery Director

JOB OVERVIEW

• As a Delivery Director, you will oversee and ensure the success of multiple delivery teams and projects across the organization.

• You will be accountable for strategic planning, resource governance, quality assurance, and client satisfaction across all game and tech delivery pipelines.

Your mission is to scale delivery excellence, align technical execution with business strategy, and build a high-performance delivery organization serving global clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Delivery Leadership

• Define and implement the overall delivery strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.

• Oversee end-to-end delivery for multiple game and software projects (onshore/offshore).

• Partner with the CTO, Technical Directors, Producers, and Product Owners to define clear objectives, timelines, and success criteria.

• Establish governance models and reporting mechanisms to ensure visibility and accountability across all delivery units.

2. Program & Project Governance

• Supervise multiple Delivery Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, within-scope, and high-quality delivery.

• Review and approve project plans, budgets, and risk assessments.

• Monitor KPIs such as delivery velocity, quality metrics, utilization, and client satisfaction.

• Anticipate bottlenecks and lead escalation management or crisis recovery when necessary.

3. People & Performance Management

• Lead, mentor, and coach Delivery Managers, Producers, and Project Leads.

• Build and scale a high-performing delivery organization through hiring, training, and performance review.

• Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and cross-team collaboration.

• Collaborate with HRBP and CTO to define career paths, competencies, and leadership succession plans within the delivery division.

4. Process & Quality Excellence

• Drive continuous improvement in delivery frameworks, processes, and tools.

• Standardize and optimize delivery methodologies across Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall models.

• Partner with QA, PMO, and Technical Leads to ensure compliance with company-wide delivery quality standards.

• Establish best practices for estimation, sprint planning, release management, and risk control.

5. Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as executive liaison for major clients and projects.

• Build strong partnerships with clients to understand business goals, manage expectations, and ensure long-term satisfaction.

• Participate in strategic business planning, account growth discussions, and delivery expansion initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of experience in technology delivery or production management, with at least 5 years in leadership or director-level roles.

• Proven track record of managing multiple delivery teams or programs in Game, IT, or Software Development environments.

• Strong technical background with knowledge of Java, NodeJS, ReactJS, C++, or similar technologies.

• Deep understanding of SDLC, DevOps, Cloud, and scalable architecture.

• Demonstrated success in project governance, capacity planning, and cross-site delivery management.

• Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects or portfolios.

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies and delivery frameworks.
