Operating within the Quality Control Division and collaborating across functions, this role audits program deliverables, escalates non -compliance, supports engineering teams in issue resolution, and drives continuous improvement using cross -program learnings to enhance design quality, process efficiency, and standard adherence. Responsibility The ElectricVehicle (EV) Quality Assessment and Improvement Engineer is responsible forleading and implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance thequality, efficiency, and reliability of EV design. This role focuses onanalyzing existing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, anddeploying best practices to optimize performance and minimize costs throughoutthe EV production lifecycle.Workunder Quality Control Division in a cross -functional environment across thecompany's portfolio and all phases of product development.Acts in a Preventive approach to improve quality,inspecting engineering activities along project development phases, with targetoriented to prevent and ensure standards compliance and quality improvement.Dailyinspection activities and following -up program gates and deliverables, auditingthe process, raising non -comply items and reporting to Leadership the criticalitems prior to the project gates decision / approval.Guidethe engineering team to find proper solution to issues found.Capture Learnings across model development and build phases to beapplied cross model (continuous improvement) - Learning Database governanceProvide support to improve the process based onprojects lessons learned. RequirementsBachelor's degree in mechanical / automotiveengineering5+ years' experience in the automotive industry withQuality and Product development areas Strong portfolio showcasinghigh -quality design projects.Strongbackground with Quality management activities, Internal Audits, Problem Solving,Continuous improvement, quality assuranceExperienced in Problem Solving Tools for root cause analysis, applicationof Containment, Permanent and Preventive actions (8D, PDCA, Quality Tools).Product and Process Improvements (Six Sigma, Kaizen, SPC and other improvementstools).Strongknowledge of DFMEA, DVP, Design standards, and Engineering Change processes.GoodTechnical knowledge on vehicle systems and vehicle development activities (CAE,CAD, Attributes, Homologation and safety requirements, DVP&R).Establish and maintainprocess documentation, including flowcharts, work instructions, and standardoperating procedures.Project Management (PMBOK, Project development gates / milestones /deliverables) knowledge is desiredCertification in qualitymanagement or quality assurance (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001, IATF16949) is aplus.Desired familiarity withAgile methodologies and project management tools.User level knowledge of Teamcenter and Atlassian Jira (desired).
