I.      POSITIONPURPOSE: - To safeguard the visual and tactilequality of interior and exterior parts by controlling all design -relatedquality attributes from concept through production. - Ensure strict alignment with CMFdefinitions and uphold the brand's standards for perceived quality and harmonyacross all components.II.    ORGANIZATIONCHART: - Reportto: Design Quality Team Leader Department: Styling, Color & Trim III.   RESPONSIBILITIESAREA CMF ComplianceOversight: ·       Monitor and control deviations from supplier deliverables againstCMF definitions and standards.Pre -Texturing &Surface Development:·       Lead pre -texturing evaluations and support texture feasibilitywith suppliers.·       Manage T0 Part Grain Marking and tool validation for surfacedefinition.Documentation &Tools:·       Prepare and manage the Boundary Book to define visual/perceivedquality references.·       Conduct TGSS (Grain Mapping Approval) and OKTG (Ok to Grain)reviews.Part Validation &Approval:·       Perform part trials post -texturing and assess surface accuracy,haptics, gloss, and shape compliance.·       Review parts in context with full interior to ensure visualharmony and integration.Perceived QualityCheck:·       Evaluate key perceived quality criteria including shape, colormatching, aspect, gloss levels, and tactile feedback.·       Lead and document AAR (Appearance Approval Report) assessments,including final approval.Vehicle -LevelValidation: ·      ConductVehicle Harmony Validation to ensure all interior parts align in quality andappearance within the full vehicle environment.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.5+ years of experience in automotive design quality, surface development, or CMF engineering.Hands -on experience with supplier collaboration, tooling validation, and texture approvals.Strong understanding of texture tooling, grain development, and perceived quality evaluation.Familiar with AAR, OKTG, TGSS, and Boundary Book processes.Detail -oriented, with strong documentation and coordination skills.​Able to evaluate aesthetics and technical feasibility in a cross -functional context.
