Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the outlet, ensuring the delivery of exceptional products and services that meet brand operating standards.
  • Ensure all established policies, procedures, and best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.
  • Support the Food & Beverage management team, with a focus on enhancing the overall outlet experience. This includes continuously assessing F&B amenities, menus, and wine lists to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with Six Senses' wellness and sustainability practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and meet guest needs effectively.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, grooming, and hygiene standards, while ensuring that all team members uphold comprehensive knowledge of safety, security, and emergency procedures, in accordance with brand and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure purchasing practices align with Six Senses' sustainability platform, while conducting regular stocktakes and storage assessments to ensure inventory is properly stored and compliant with Six Senses standards.
  • A key aspect of the role is to interact with guests and team members in a professional, courteous, and positive manner, actively seeking feedback to continuously improve the guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Diploma of college or university completion and knowledge of food and beverage and/or hotel management.
  • Any courses relating to further knowledge of wine or bartending are also preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience within a luxury hotel or resort operation in similar position
  • Assume full responsibility for the efficient operation for the outlet
  • Forecasting and reporting requirements of the role (service, breakage, loss and inventories)
  • Instill high standards of appearance, grooming and hygiene
  • Very good command over written and spoken English
