Role Objective
We are seeking a seasoned Growth Marketing Manager who can
own their lane, execute independently, and drive measurable growth
. This person will bring senior-level experience to guide campaigns, optimize funnels, and implement data-driven strategies.
They will also
mentor and support our team
, sharing expertise so the broader marketing function can grow and operate more effectively. This is a high-impact role where execution, strategy, and leadership intersect.
Key Responsibilities – Growth Marketing Manager
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and own the overall growth marketing strategy, aligning performance channels, lifecycle marketing, content initiatives, and audience segmentation with company goals.
- Define clear objectives and KPIs for campaigns, lead generation, and conversion, with a focus on the Canadian market initially and scalable strategies for U.S. expansion.
User Acquisition & Retention
- Drive user acquisition, activation, and retention through integrated digital campaigns across performance channels.
- Develop and optimize lifecycle and lead nurturing campaigns to efficiently move prospects through the funnel.
Performance Marketing & Optimization
- Execute and optimize campaigns across SEM, SEO, paid social, retargeting, and email automation.
- Develop, manage, and scale paid campaigns on Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn, focusing on ROI and CAC.
- Design and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to optimize landing pages, ads, emails, and user funnels for conversion.
- Continuously test and iterate new growth ideas, partnerships, campaigns, and marketing channels to identify scalable opportunities.
Content & Campaign Collaboration
- Partner with the Content Creator to ensure campaign messaging, creative, and content align with growth objectives and resonate with target audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Engineering, to refine messaging, improve funnel performance, and enhance customer lifetime value.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on key growth metrics, including CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, website traffic, and lead generation.
- Experienced in leveraging analytics and reporting tools (HubSpot, GA4, Looker Studio, etc.) to extract actionable insights and optimize campaign performance. We would like to apply this expertise to define and execute data requirements within our Sales CRM.
- Provide actionable insights to support the sales team and improve conversion rates and pipeline performance.
Leadership & Process Improvement
- Lead or mentor junior marketing team members or specialists, fostering a culture of experimentation, data-driven decision making, and accountability.
- Improve marketing processes to ensure campaigns are well-structured, efficient, and scalable.
Skill Requirements
Marketing & Growth Expertise
- 5–10 years of experience in B2B SaaS growth or performance marketing, preferably in startups or scale-ups.
- Proven success driving measurable growth through digital channels (SEM, SEO, paid social, retargeting, email marketing).
- Deep understanding of user acquisition funnels, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and lifecycle marketing.
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests, multivariate tests, and other growth experiments.
CRM & Data Skills
- Hands-on experience with Sales CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar), including defining data requirements, tracking leads, and pipeline management.
- Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (HubSpot, GA4, Looker Studio, Excel/Sheets, BI tools).
- Ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets and recommend optimizations for campaigns and sales processes.
Technical Skills & Tools
- Experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other paid media platforms.
- Comfortable working with dashboards, data visualizations, and reporting frameworks.
Soft Skills & Leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborative approach for working cross-functionally with content, product, and sales teams.
- Experience mentoring or leading small teams is a plus.
Market Knowledge
- Familiarity with North American markets, particularly Canada (primary) and the U.S. (secondary) is a strong advantage.
