Fuel the Future of Social Commerce: Ensuring Seamless and Excellent Social Commerce Project Management

1. Job summary

At Melive, we're on a mission to accelerate social commerce. We connect passionate creators with ambitious brands, igniting sales and engagement through captivating livestreams and short-form videos.

As a Project Lead, you will ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day operations and grow new business as a project owner. This role is crucial for PnL controlling, project planning and operations, coming up with new directions for the project and optimizing daily performance.

Strategic Project Lead leads the project team as scale, reporting to the Head of Melive. It is a mid-level managerial position.

2. Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you'll leverage your expertise to:

Project Support & management:

- Understand platform logic (TikTokShop - Shopee Live - Meta Affiliate…), user insights, and market and platform direction to build & follow & execute the social commerce project with HOD

• Generate regular reports with insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements based on results.

• Assist Project Leads in managing day-to-day project tasks and workflows.

• Participate in client meetings, take briefs, conduct research, and contribute to brainstorming sessions.

Campaign and Operation Supports:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and operate livestream campaigns and short-form content initiatives.

• Manage and optimize social commerce campaigns to drive revenue, traffic, and conversion, ensuring strong platform performance.

• Support in managing new project initiatives (creator workshop, CSR projects, oversea business, JBP creator x brand…).

• Follow and Report the optimization process between internal stakeholders (if have)

Communication & Coordination

Communicate closely with internal teams to build and execute strategic projects.

Maintain accurate and organized project documentation (meeting minutes, reports, proposals).

Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and key milestones.

Foster and cultivate meaningful stakeholders relationships.

Timeline and Quality Management

Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and brand guidelines.

Priorities are determined using keen analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills that support and enable wise decision making.

Assist in resolving project-related issues in collaboration with Project Leads and team members.

Monitor progress, track deliverables, and ensure timely execution of all assigned tasks.

4. Qualifications

We're seeking a highly motivated individual with:

3+ years working experience; with

1+ years of experience in so-com or ecom project management, or related industries. Passionate and experienced in one or all of these areas: Social Media & Advertising, Creator Commerce, Creator Economy, Digital Marketing.

Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Good collaboration skills, being able to work with multiple teams while keeping good priorities and balancing the mutually beneficial.
