ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Senior Management Accountant in our dynamic company, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of accounting tasks, from financial reporting to tax compliance. Given our developing nature, you will be the sole accountant on our team, requiring versatility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.  

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Reporting
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.   
  • Support Senior Management team.
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets.
  • Review projects on Salesforce
  • Ensure compliance with Vietnamese and Australian accounting standards and regulations.
  • Supporting with project budgets and accounting.   
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits.
  Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including vendor invoices, customer invoices, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely payments and collections.
  • General Ledger Maintenance.
  • Record journal entries for various transactions, including revenue, expenses, and adjustments.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  Tax Compliance
  • Prepare corporate tax returns and other tax filings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations

SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/APTITUDES NEEDED:
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting
  • Strong knowledge of Vietnamese and Australian accounting standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software – MISA online
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously 

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
  • Competitive Salary
  • Annual Discretionary Company Bonus – up to 8% - 3% Company & 5% Individual
  • You will accrue up to four (4) weeks of annual leave each year in accordance with the Fair Work Act (pro rata for part time employees) 
  • Working hours will be from 09.00 to 17.30 with an hour taken for lunch usually between 12.00 and Working hours will vary depending on the client and relevant time zones
