Senior Oracle Database Administrator
 to join us and support one of our largest enterprise clients.

This is a critical role for upgrading and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite and related database systems. You'll collaborate closely with system administrators, developers, and application teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of mission-critical systems.

Locations: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and support the technical upgrade of Oracle EBS from version 12.1.x to 12.2.x (latest stable release).
  • Administer and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
  • Perform cloning, patching, backup and recovery, and schema refreshes.
  • Implement and manage Data Guard, RMAN backup strategies, and database restore/recovery.
  • Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues across multiple environments.
  • Collaborate with Developers and Application Teams to resolve code or integration issues.
  • Liaise with Oracle Support for Service Requests and follow up on critical issues.
  • Automate routine DBA tasks (scripting, Ansible, etc.) to improve efficiency.
  • Share knowledge with other DBAs and provide best practice guidance on managing EBS 12.2.

What You'll Bring

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 
    5 years of experience working with Oracle databases and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
    .
  • Strong expertise in 
    Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2
     (architecture, administration, patching, and cloning).
  • Proficiency in RMAN backup/recovery, Data Guard, and performance tuning.
  • Experience in managing Oracle databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager.
  • Solid skills in SQL*Plus, PL/SQL programming.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to work with multicultural teams.

Nice-to-have

  • Previous experience in managing Oracle Applications and Databases in Azure VMs.
  • Previous experience in managing Oracle MySQL / PostgreSQL databases.
  • Previous experience dealing with Unix or Linux OS.
  • Previous experience dealing with network infrastructure.
