We are a newly set up UK company specializing in producing high-quality footwear components, particularly foam soles and related materials. Our Long Thanh facility is being established to serve global footwear brands with a focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability.

Job Summary:

The
Plant Manager
will oversee all daily operations of the manufacturing plant, from production and maintenance to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The role requires a strong background in footwear manufacturing, especially in foam sole production or related materials and proven experience managing a factory setup and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup and commissioning of the new plant in Long Thanh.
  • Manage and oversee production, quality, maintenance, logistics, and safety.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve production targets.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, local regulations, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements.
  • Manage budgets, production planning, and cost efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and develop local teams to meet operational requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with UK headquarters for process alignment and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and process optimization initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in footwear manufacturing, foam sole production, or similar material industries.
  • Proven experience managing factory setup and operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Hands-on approach and ability to work in a startup environment.
