  • Coordinating and leading all meetings, following up on all preproduction activities to proactively identify and solve all technical and operational issues related to new product, whilst ensuring the operations in bulk production flow smoothly, taking initiative for process flow from the point of product development the pilot run.
  • Working closely with the plant managers/ the production manager on order inquiries, assessing the do-ability of the product, advising on resource requirements (such as machines, attachments, and skills) and providing feedback to the customers on order acceptance.
  • Providing technical advice (sewing techniques, critical quality points ect) to relevant staff and resolving critical day to day operational and technical issues in coordination with the production teams to facilitate the smooth transition of the production process.
  • Keeping abreast of the developments in the cushion/ sofa manufacturing field and related technological areas, assessing feasibility for use the factory and advising the management on these developments
  • Reviewing all relevant processes and suggesting improvements to continuously enhance the process in the factory
  • Leading, directing and motivating the team whilst monitoring team performance and providing feedback with the objective of ensuring that team capabilities meet present and future organizational requirements.
  • Ensuring that all relevant information is maintained accurately and all required management reports and documents are prepared and submit timely manner.
