Interpreter (Simultaneous) cum Personal Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Interpreter with strong business and technical fluency to support the Board of Directors (BOD) and senior stakeholders by providing accurate and contextually appropriate translations. The role involves translating both written documents and spoken communication across various formats such as meetings, seminars, and teleconferences, including those related to technology and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an Interpreter for the BOD and senior stakeholders across a variety of settings.
- Translate live speeches, voice recordings, written documents, and other materials from Vietnamese to English and vice versa, ensuring accurate meaning, tone, and technical/business terminology.
- Maintain daily activity logs and related documentation.
- Support BOD members with various administrative tasks as required.
- Ensure all translation and interpretation work adheres to professional ethics and confidentiality standards.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interpretation, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in interpretation.
- High proficiency in business English and Vietnamese, both spoken and written.
- Exceptional bilingual communication, listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
- Clear pronunciation and a professional, pleasant speaking voice.
- Strong understanding of business environments and practices.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Familiarity with technology-related terminology and the ability to interpret in technical discussions involving software, IT systems, or digital transformation topics.
