We are expanding the product team and looking for a Product Designer who can elevate the overall experience of the B2B Suite across admin, storefront, onboarding flow, and analytics.

Role Overview

You will be the design owner of the
B2B Suite

, working closely with Product Managers and Developers to deliver clean, modern, consistent UI/UX that meets Shopify design standards. Your work directly impacts
thousands of global merchants

, especially in EU, US, and APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Product Design

  • Transform product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity screens.
  • Design complex B2B workflows: pricing rules, catalog control, customer segmentation, checkout rules.
  • Improve experiences within Quick Order, RFQ, Volume Pricing, Net Terms, Approval Flow.
  • Optimize onboarding steps, setup guides, and dashboard insights for higher activation.

2. Design System Ownership

  • Build and maintain a
    B2B Suite Design System

based on Shopify Polaris.
- Define reusable components and patterns for all three apps.
- Ensure visual and interaction consistency across modules and product lines.

3. Research & User Understanding

  • Conduct UX audits, usability tests, and merchant interviews.
  • Translate customer feedback (support tickets, reviews, usage data) into prioritized UX improvements.
  • Validate solutions with merchants before and after implementation.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Managers to refine scope and define UX for new features.
  • Work with Developers on feasibility, behaviors, and clean handoff via Figma specs.
  • Participate in sprint planning, review, and product roadmap discussions.

RequirementsMust-Have

  • 1–3+ years of experience in product design (mid) or 3–5+ years (senior).
  • Strong portfolio in
    product/SaaS/UI design

(not just websites).
- Ability to design for complex multi-step workflows.
- Strong Figma skills: components, variants, auto layout, design systems.
- Experience designing admin dashboards, management systems, or eCommerce interfaces.
- Understanding of UX best practices and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication & critical thinking skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in Shopify, Shopify Polaris, or other eCommerce platforms.
  • Understanding of B2B commerce flows, ERP logic, pricing complexity, or POS.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflow.
  • Ability to support UX writing and microcopy when needed.
