As a
Product Design Manager,
you will lead a team of UI/UX Designers in creating world-class digital experiences for One Mount's new product initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional leaders to define design strategies that balance user needs with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Vision
- Define & Shape Strategy: Define the UX vision and core product concept. Communicate design insights to executive stakeholders to shape long-term product strategy and achieve strategic buy-in.
- Establish Standards: Define and communicate design principles and establish criteria and standards for design quality, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead the design process, collaborating with PMs and Engineers to translate complex requirements into innovative, user-centered solutions (UX/UI).
- Product Lifecycle Management: Ensure designs are informed by data, research, and analytics throughout the entire product lifecycle.
People & Operations
- Team Development: Manage, mentor, and grow the Product Designers on new initiatives. Oversee learning roadmaps and implement succession planning initiatives for key roles.
- Operational Excellence: Develop strategies for resource planning and utilisation, review operational policies, and ensure optimal efficiency across projects.
What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a Design Leadership/Management role and 7+ years total experience in UI/UX Design, with a strong focus on "Zero-to-One" product development (New Initiatives).
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to define UX vision, drive product strategy with data, and manage complex Stakeholder Management processes.
- Leadership & Management: Experience in Oversight – Drive – Growth of teams, including resource planning and implementing growth/succession plans.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert level in design craft, Figma, and deep understanding of mobile app products at scale.
- Portfolio: Demonstrates strategic impact, design leadership, and successful zero-to-one launches.
