Job Description

Reporting to The Director of Category FMCG, you will be responsible for :

  • Defining the category strategy Lazada should adopt for Health & Beauty products in Vietnam
  • Running the analysis to understand the impact of respective category decisions on the sales and profits and refining the strategy
  • Identifying assortment gaps and supply that help to drive the category growth
  • Advising The Key Account Management team on the top-tier merchants performance and competitiveness
  • Driving the category pricing and marketing strategy together with the Marketing team
  • Interacting daily with the Regional Category Manager to ensure the right implementation of the high-level strategy

Job Requirements

  1. To succeed in the role, you should ideally have:

  2. Strong passion and good knowledge about related industries in Vietnam

  3. Good communication & interpersonal skills to build and further develop the partnership with both international/local brands/retailers
  4. Understand business P&L and logical/strategic thinking mindset
  5. Analytical skills to drive P&L and category performance analysis, can conduct reporting/business analysis
  6. Excellent proficiency (spoken & written) in English and Vietnamese

  7. Good at managing multiple stakeholders to drive results

  9. Minimum 5 years experiences managing any related category within the FMCG industry and build the category strategy at their previous roles (E-commerce experience is a plus).

  10. Minimum 2 years experiences working in the E-commerce industry or Modern Trade shopping channels.
