Your day at NTT DATA The Senior Bridge Engineer (BrSE) is a seasoned bilingual IT professional, responsible for leading and coordinating product and outsourcing projects for Japanese clients across industries such as logistics, healthcare, and e-commerce.

The primary responsibility of the Senior BrSE is to act as a communication bridge between Japanese clients and the development team in Vietnam, ensuring smooth project execution from initial requirement analysis to final delivery and client handover. . Key responsibilities:

• Participate in product and outsourcing projects for Japanese clients in diverse fields including logistics, healthcare, and e-commerce.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop project scopes and objectives with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Develop detailed project plans to track progress.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Performs any other related task as required.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:

• Strong understanding of software development processes and project management methodologies.
• Excellent Japanese communication skills (JLPT N2 or higher).
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and expectations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High cultural sensitivity and adaptability to Japanese business practices.
• Proactive, self-driven, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, and project collaboration platforms.
• Experience in IT outsourcing or product development projects with Japanese clients is a plus.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) are preferred.
• Japanese language certifications (e.g., JLPT N2 or above) are highly desirable.

Required experience:

• Solid experience in IT project coordination or software development.
• Experience working with Japanese clients or in Japanese business environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, timeline, and client communications.
• Experience in requirement analysis and translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
