PART B: POSITION SUMMARY

Scope: EVL/FLV

The Finance Officer will support the Chief Accountant in conducting day-to-day financial accounting tasks, ensuring collections, payment processes and the financial records are accurate, timely, and according to finance policies and procedure.

PART C: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Bookkeeping and Data Entry

·       Record financial transactions, including invoices, receipts and payments, into accounting software i.e. ITAS/ SAP.

·       Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial activities.

Accounts Payable and Receivable

·       Process invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers.

·       Manage customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.

·       Reconcile accounts payable and receivable records.

Bank Reconciliation

·       Reconcile bank statements with the company's accounting records.

·       Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Reporting

·       Assist in preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

·       Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

Expense Management

·       Track and record employee expenses.

·       Ensure compliance with the company's expenses reimbursement policies.

Administrative Support

·       Assist in maintaining financial documentation and filing systems.

·       Provide support during audits and financial reviews.

*** Note: Scope of work will be revised depending on the business needs, other related duties as and when assigned by your reporting superior from time to time.

PART D: ACADEMIC / PROFESIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Required: Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field;

·       Desirable: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;

PART E: RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

·       Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting

·       Basic knowledge of VAS and local tax regulations.

·       Proficiency in accounting software i.e. SAP
