Our client specializes in health and beauty products, with a strong focus on e-commerce development. This company operates as the Vietnamese branch of a Singapore-based enterprise. The parent company in Singapore has established a presence across major Southeast Asian markets, primarily engaged in the big health industry, offering health supplements and nutritional products.

As a Senior Finance Officer, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, tax compliance, and financial planning, supporting our fast-growing business in Vietnam. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Vietnamese tax and financial regulations, be fluent in Chinese or English, and preferably have experience in cross-border or local e-commerce businesses.

Main responsibilities:

Financial management:

  • Manage daily financial operations, including revenue, expenses, cost control, and profit analysis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Monitor and optimize cash flow management to ensure financial security.
  • Oversee accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Improve and streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency.

Tax and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with Vietnamese tax laws and financial policies.
  • Handle tax filings, including VAT, corporate income tax (CIT), and personal income tax (PIT).
  • Maintain good relationships with local tax authorities and auditors, resolving tax-related issues.
  • Manage company audits, annual reports, and other compliance matters.

E-commerce Finance Management:

  • Experienced in e-commerce finance, familiar with cross-border payments, order financial management, and platform commission settlements.
  • Understand the financial rules of platforms like Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok, optimizing settlement processes.
  • Analyze e-commerce financial data and provide optimization suggestions.
  • Monitor cross-border fund flows, mitigating foreign exchange and tax risks.

Main Requirements:

  • Language: Fluent in Chinese or English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), proficient in Vietnamese
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of financial management experience, preferably in multinational or local e-commerce companies.
  • Familiar with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), tax regulations, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis, cost control, and cash flow management.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial software such as SAP, QuickBooks, and Xero.
  • Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of handling financial operations independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills to coordinate effectively with Chinese and Vietnamese management teams.
