Company Description

  • Bosch first started its operations in Vietnam in 1994 and registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2008. According to the business strategy of Bosch in Vietnam, from 1st July 2014 on all business entities were merged into Bosch Vietnam Co. Ltd. with its head office at Ho Chi Minh City plant (HcP) in Dong Nai Province.
  • HcP has started its belt assembly in a rented building on 1st August 2008 as the assembly plant of Tilburg Plant (TbP). On 14th April 2011, HcP celebrated the inauguration of the new plant (Lth101 with 17,000 sqm), which did not only allow to increase the production depth, but also to facilitate the push belt assembly of this high-tech product. On 3rd July 2012 HcP marked a big milestone by starting to produce the second component (loop-set) for its push belt. Since November 2012, HcP doubled the production floor space and increase the net total floor space up to m², and have successfully increased its production capacity and realized a lot of new line SOP's.

Job Description

I. Planning for consumables

  • Coordinate with end users to forecast consumable to maintain sufficient stocks for their activities.
  • Weekly/ Daily stock check and issue purchase orders with consideration of Re-order point & other factors.
  • Weekly/ Daily track delivery date from suppliers to early detect risk of shortage of materials.
  • Work w/ purchasing department & end-users to find solutions in case any risk happened leading to shortage of materials.
  • Work w/ Quality, Warehouse & others to react to quality issues pop-up.

II. Planning for packaging material (plastic box, carton box …)

  • Coordinate with production planner to forecast packaging material for production
  • Weekly/ daily stock check and adjust planning
  • Weekly call-off packaging materials from supplier

III. Planning for Re-turnable packaging material (plastic box)

  • Customer contact partners for pulling arrange re-turnable packaging materials
  • Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly stock check and adjust planning
  • International contact partners to create new scheduling agreements for new investment

IV. Inventory control

  • Follow up to make sure inventory on target
  • Optimize stock, prepare materials in freeze period to production

V. Improvement-Projects

  • Analyze and define improvements for Supply Chain Costs + Inventories
  • Lead/member of project to improve process, cost …

VI. Monthly reporting

  • On-hand stock and GIT, airfreight & others

Qualifications

I. Education: University Degree (Bachelor/Master)

II. Work experience:

  • 3-5 years in procurement planner
  • Bosch-experience preferred (e.g. BPS, Problem solving, Project management)
  • LOG-experience mandatory (Supply Chain Management)

III. Traits and Skills:

  • English - Business fluent
  • MS Excel (incl VBA, Macros)
  • Willingness to work under pressure and within team
  • Openness to new topics, willingness to learn and improve
  • Communication skill (internal & external) & Accurracy
