Job description

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in test automation and a passion for product quality. This role is ideal for someone who not only enjoys hands-on testing but also thrives in mentoring junior team members and contributing to process improvements.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts for both frontend and backend systems.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to understand product functionality and architecture.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into detailed, structured test plans and test cases (both manual and automated).
  • Lead and mentor junior QA engineers in automation best practices and testing approaches.
  • Execute automated and manual test cases, report bugs clearly, and follow through to resolution.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance product quality and team productivity.
  • Ensure test environments are properly configured, maintained, and aligned with testing needs.
  • Support UAT phases and collaborate with stakeholders to validate product readiness.
Your skills and experience

  • A Bachelor's Degree in computer science or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software testing, especially automation.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle, strategies, and Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright.
  • Experience in REST API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
  • Proficiency in writing automated tests in JavaScript, using GIT, writing bash script.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Knowledge in cross-browser and mobile application testing.
  • Experience with performance testing methods and tools.
  • Knowledge of cryptography, security, vulnerability.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
