About the Role

Our client is a global leader in offshore engineering, delivering advanced floating production systems (FPSO, FLNG, TLP, semi-submersibles) across major energy projects worldwide.

As a Senior Automation QA Engineer in their Digital & Analytics team, you'll help ensure the quality of mission-critical systems that power large-scale offshore operations — a unique opportunity to make real-world impact while advancing your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Define and maintain Test Plans, Test Strategies, and automation frameworks.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts (Playwright preferred) and conduct API testing for performance and reliability.
  • Apply "shift-left" testing practices to embed quality early in the development lifecycle.
  • Continuously improve automation pipelines, participate in code reviews, and uphold QA standards.
  • Leadership experience is a plus. Mentor peers in automation best practices, contribute to complex test strategies, and support QA hiring and enablement.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in QA/testing (3+ years in automation).
  • Proficient in automation tools/frameworks: Playwright (preferred), Selenium, RestAssured.
  • Solid understanding of test design techniques, CI/CD, and QA methodologies.
  • Degree in Computer Science/IT

  • Experience with k6/JMeter, security testing, AI feature testing, or Azure DevOps.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
