Job Description

About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handling appropriate General ledger reconciliation for the list of assigned accounts on daily and monthly basis to ensure General Leger accounts balances are fully supported and accurately reported.
  • Determination reasonableness and integrity of the General Ledger balance.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders including Account owner team and Finance Department.
  • Document the general ledger status, follow up with action requires for any variance/outage/aging item and tracking for timely closure.
  • Investigates reconciliation differences.
  • Prepare periodic reports and other metric reports.
  • Ensures accuracy of reports and reconciliations.
  • Carries out detailed proof reviews.
  • Participate in project related to migration by work collaboratively with both regional and in-country stakeholders, for an end-to-end project.
  • Monitor work progression ensuring completion of assignments by requested due date.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years previous relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Fluent in English language, both writing and speaking
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proactive leadership and motivational skills
