Spatial Decisions Vietnam is a consulting firm specializing in urban planning, climate resilience, and information solutions. Established in Hanoi in 2008, Spatial Decisions offers consulting services to public, private, and international clients. The company integrates IT expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and provides comprehensive solutions through partnerships and local aacademic institutions and assoications.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for working closely with the CEO and senior management as Executive Assistant and Relationship Manager. The individual will have positive demanour, good communication skills, documentation, and organizational capacity to maintain documents, records, contact information, and manage travel arrangements.
The individual will be responsible for working closely with CEO for cultivating long-term partnerships, managing client relationships, and building brand presence of key national and local events.

You will maintain and create client relationships, business networks, and relationships with individuals, including government officials and senior business representatives. You will work under the direction of the CEO, and in his absence, under the direction of senior management. Responsibilities will include day to day calender management, meetings,
logistical arrangements,
documentation for and from meetings, spoken and written translation/ communication support, and participation in key events and meetings as required by the CEO. Individual will be required to travel, as required, with the CEO/ Senior Managment/ or in individual capacity to attend meetings/ events/ followup relationships as required.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and documentation skills with relevant graduate level education
  • Work experience with private sector and government sector
  • Minimum of 5 years of full time work experience
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese

Additional Desireable Experience

  • Working with World Bank, USAID, ADB, GIZ, AfD and other donor agencies.
  • Knowledge of urban planning, climate change, and environmental management
  • Experience with working with select provinces and multiple governmental agencies
