About The Role

As a Manual QA Engineer, you'll ensure the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive manual testing. Working closely with developers, designers, and product managers, you'll identify bugs, validate features, and deliver a consistent user experience. Your attention to detail and systematic testing approach will directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Execute comprehensive manual testing across web and mobile platforms (functional, regression, exploratory, UAT)
  • Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements and design specifications
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing
  • Validate features against business requirements and acceptance criteria

Bug Management

  • Identify, document, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots/videos, and severity levels
  • Triage and prioritize issues with Engineering team
  • Track defects through their lifecycle and verify fixes before closure

Collaboration

  • Participate in the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to delivery
  • Work with developers to identify potential problem areas
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure UI/UX consistency
  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives

Process Improvement

  • Create and maintain test documentation and quality standards
  • Contribute to improving QA processes and methodologies
  • Identify optimization opportunities in testing workflows

Requirements

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of QA/Software Engineering experience, preferably in gaming startups
  • Deep experience in mobile and desktop web testing
  • Strong eye for detail and aesthetics
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and comprehensive test planning
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (BDD) and tools (Jira)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred

  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English
  • Based in HCMC, willing to work on-site
  • Bias-to-action with complex problem-solving skills
  • Experience with test automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Selenium)
