Primary Objectives:
The Product Quality Assurance (short word, we call it "PQA") is responsible for the goal of "Improving Corporate Images regarding Quality of Products & Services to Contribute to all of the Vietnamese Consumers and Markets" in the Supply Chain by following AEON's Ethics and the Code of Conduct, as well as always looking for "more than what laws and regulations required."
The PQA has two main functions as follows:
(a) Improvements and Assurance of Quality of Products & Services: Collecting all relevant information and documents to get certificates assuring products or services we provide, as well as auditing, inspecting, supporting, or cooperating to improve our business partners regarding products or services we provide, to ensure those products and services are safe and secure. Furthermore, proposing or correcting any procurement systems in the supply chain and educating staff in charge of procurements.
(b) Cooperation with the Private Brand Product Team to create featured products: Supporting and carrying out activities related to customer surveys and pre-production sensory testing, as well as any other related activities.
- PQA is not directly in charge of quality control ("QC") activities in stores; however, if those can be applicable to enhance PQA activities in aspects of (a) or (b), then PQA will coordinate across departments by focusing on PQA activities as the primary responsibility, and PQA has the right to supervise or receive support from the relevant departments regarding QC activities.
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Get registration certificates and check labels (70%)
Study and make clear related Việt Nam regulations with the authority in case of need. Prepare dossiers and submit to authorities. Make an action plan and ensure to get certificates on time.
Understand related regulations on labelling. Check and confirm
Handle issuance of barcode
2. Control product quality and handle quality issues as well as audit factories (30%)
Understand the production process and make a plan to control quality from pre-production to finished products.
Evaluate steady of a product by a product monitoring program
Monitor the quality situation at stores. Visit factories in case of need to collaborate with them to solve quality issues
Collaborate with Managements to create featured products as assigned
Requirements
University degrees, major in organic chemistry or electricity, or garment
Experienced in related areas in at least 4 years
English Communication
Communication skills (both verbal and written)
Negotiation skills for external affairs, including authorities and governments
Time management skills.
Presentation skills and choosing appropriate words as both verbal and written skills
Computer literate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet
