you will be at the forefront of innovation, contributing to the development of AI-driven identity verification solutions.

This internship provides hands-on experience in researching, analyzing, and experimenting with biometric AI models and applications. You'll work alongside experienced AI researchers and engineers, gaining insights into the entire lifecycle of AI model development—from data preparation and model training to evaluation and deployment.

Responsibilities:

Biometric AI Research & Development:

  • Study and analyze AI models used for face recognition, ID tampering, and OCR-based identity verification.
  • Research and implement machine learning techniques to enhance biometric authentication accuracy.
  • Explore deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV) for real-world biometric applications.

Data Analysis and Preprocessing:

  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing biometric datasets (images, videos, voice, identity documents and other biometric features).
  • Analyze data characteristics and quality to understand their impact on model performance.
  • Help in creating and maintaining efficient data pipelines.

Research and Experimentation:

  • Conduct literature reviews on the latest advancements in biometric AI and identity verification.
  • Assist in designing and running experiments to test hypotheses related to model improvements.
  • Evaluate model performance and interpret results.

Pipeline Development & Integration:

  • Learn about the end-to-end pipeline for developing and deploying AI models in eKYC applications.
  • Gain hands-on experience with cloud-based AI tools and biometric verification platforms.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for project improvements.
  • Present findings and insights from research and experiments to the team.
  • Collaborate with other interns and team members on assigned projects.

Job Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Strong academic background in mathematics, statistics, and programming.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic proficiency in Python programming.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV).
  • Basic understanding of biometric AI applications and image processing.
  • Exposure to data preprocessing and analysis techniques.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong curiosity and enthusiasm for AI, particularly in eKYC and biometric authentication.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior coursework or projects related to computer vision, biometrics, or identity verification.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
