Factory Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing daily production activities to ensure that output, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved. This role involves supervising production teams, optimizing operational processes, improving resource utilization, and ensuring equipment reliability. The Production Manager also plays a key role in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and supporting cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall factory performance.

Jobs Descriotion:

Production & Operations Management

·      Oversee day-to-day production operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely achievement of production targets. 

·      Develop, monitor, and adjust production schedules to meet customer delivery timelines. 

·      Ensure adherence to production plans, SOPs, and quality requirements. 

·      Manage raw material usage and ensure efficient resource allocation.

Quality Control & Compliance

·      Work closely with the QA/QC teams to maintain product quality consistency. 

·      Implement and enforce quality control procedures aligned with company and industry standards.

·      Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Coordination

·      Lead, supervise, and train production staff to meet performance expectations. 

·      Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. 

·      Coordinate effectively with R&D, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams.

Equipment & Maintenance

·      Ensure all machinery and equipment are well-maintained and functioning efficiently. 

·      Coordinate preventive maintenance plans with the engineering/maintenance team. 

·      Troubleshoot production issues and reduce downtime. 

Continuous Improvement

·      Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies; propose actionable improvements. 

·      Lead cost-reduction, productivity enhancement, and waste-minimization initiatives. 

·      Analyze operational data to support decision-making and performance improvement. 

Reporting & Documentation

·      Prepare regular production reports, KPIs, efficiency analyses, and incident documentation. 

·      Maintain accurate records of production processes and compliance reports. 

Education & Experience

·      Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related 

field. 

·     Previous experience in production management, preferably in the plastics, chemicals, or manufacturing industry. 

·      Strong understanding of masterbatch, extrusion, compounding, or polymer-related manufacturing is a plus. 

Skills & Competencies

·      Strong organizational and leadership abilities with experience managing production 

tems. 

·      Proficiency in production planning, resource management, and process optimization. 

·      Thorough knowledge of quality control systems and manufacturing safety standards. 

·      Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. 

·      Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination. 

·      Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies is  advantageous. 

Language Requirements

  • Fluency in English is required.
