About the role:

• The company is seeking a high-performing
  Regional Maintenance Manager
  to lead the operational excellence and reliability of our fast-growing Distributed Solar Generation portfolio across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Hub.

• This role is the transverse leader for all maintenance and operational performance across the APAC hub, reporting directly to the Head of Asset Management – APAC Hub.

• You will be responsible for ensuring the high performance of our solar assets—located primarily on commercial and industrial (C&I) sites—in an environment where stringent maintenance standards must be proactively introduced and enforced with local contractors and clients.

Key Portfolio & Scope:

• Geographic Focus
  : Overseeing maintenance and reliability across the APAC hub, including Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, and India.
• Asset Growth
  : Managing a substantial portfolio of 216 operational sites (250 MWp), with a clear mandate to scale this capacity to over 300 MWp by 2025.
• Team Leadership
  : Providing technical and coordination leadership to a geographically dispersed team of Country O&M Managers.
• Mandate
  : Achieving and maintaining the highest standards in Quality and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) across all operational sites.

Core Responsibilities

As the Regional Maintenance Manager, you will drive operational efficiency and technical performance across the region by:

• Performance Leadership
  : Leading and presenting the Hub's operational KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)—including uptime, technical availability, and Mean Time Between Repair (MTBR)—to the Management Committee (ManCom). Developing, implementing, and tracking mitigation plans to close performance shortfalls.

• Regional Coordination
  : Coordinating all maintenance activities across SEA, India, and Japan. This includes managing maintenance schedules, overseeing external O&M contracts, and optimizing spare parts management in coordination with Country O&M Managers.

• System Governance (CMMS):
  Ensuring the full implementation, adoption, and strict adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) across the entire APAC Hub.

• Quality & Audit
  : Implementing rigorous quality control (QC) checks on all maintenance and repair activities, conducting performance audits on maintenance reports and site documents within the CMMS

• Process & Documentation
  : Creating, standardizing, and deploying best-in-class maintenance processes, manuals, tools, and documentation for use by country teams. Coordinating feedback and sharing Maintenance REX (Return on Experience) with Global HQ.

• Cost Management
  : Tracking and actively optimizing the Hub's total maintenance costs, with a specific focus on reducing and optimizing corrective maintenance expenditure.

• HSE Compliance
  : Ensuring all O&M activities strictly adhere to company's stringent global HSE standards and policies.

  Achieve and sustain zero fatality and uphold the highest possible HSE standards across all projects.

• Availability:
  Maintain the entire asset portfolio at a high level of uptime and technical availability with superior quality standards.

• Efficiency
  : Secure a competitive procurement strategy for maintenance services and spare parts management.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Education
  : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).

• Experience
  : 8–10 years of experience directly managing operational and maintenance activities in the solar sector. Experience in other high-asset integrity industries, such as Wind Energy, is highly valued.

• Regional Expertise
  : Proven work experience and understanding of the APAC region's operational and contractor landscape.

• Skills:
  Excellent command of English (written and verbal). Demonstrated excellence in day-to-day planning, time management, and practical problem-solving.
