Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Involved in the full lifecycle of Android software development for Japanese mobile customers.
  • Study and analyze requirements, code, write unit tests, and fix bugs.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, QA, and other developers (both local and international) to ensure product quality.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Android system's SystemUI module (e.g., StatusBar, NotificationPanel, NavigationBar).
  • Write technical documentation, participate in security audits, and conduct code reviews.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Strong foundation in Java/Kotlin programming languages.
  • Familiarity with common data structures, algorithms, and commonly used design patterns.
  • In-depth understanding of lock screen feature design and implementation, including unlock animations, security authentication processes, and quick function settings.
  • Skilled in optimizing lock screen performance (e.g., wake-up delay, animation smoothness).
  • Experience in resolving compatibility issues between the lock screen and third-party applications.
  • Experience in system performance optimization to enhance the smoothness and responsiveness of System UI and lock screen functionalities.
  • Must have a strong sense of organized and structured work.
