Located in Lot CN6, Ba Thien Industrial Zone, Ba Hien Town, Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc Province, Vietnam.

- **Position**: Process Engineer (Mechanical)
- **Report to**: Process Engineering Manager
- **Working time**:8:00 - 17:00 | Monday - Friday
- **Location**: Factory No.6, Lot CN6, Ba Thien Industrial Park, Ba Hien Town, Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc
- **Job overview**:

- Develop & deploy assembly process & necessary jig/fixtures for product NPI builds and lead technical solution of manufacturing failures till end of product lifecycle for multiple product portfolios.
- **Responsibility**:

- Lead the creation of DFM (design of Manufacturing) & FMEA documents for the assembly process for new product from mockup samples & different NPI builds.
- Review the mechanical designs of parts and provide DFMEA feedback for Mechanical designers of ASSA ABLOY’s design centers across the world.
- Lead development of Jig, machine, documents for assigned project to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.
- Collaborate with design mechanical engineers, part suppliers for solving Manufacturing related technical issues on design, testing, supplier manufacturing issues.
- Review part design with Suppliers and participate in supplier-DFM reviews and Part approval process during NPI & Mass production Copy tooling.
- Responsible for finding engineering solution for overall product performance & manufacturing issues of assigned products.
- Review, Validate & confirm the manufacturability & reliability of mechanical materials during alternate/localization supplier verification & copy tooling process.
- Collaborating with TPMs & Product Managers for updating the status of tasks and preparations Updates.
- Review the BOM of NPI builds and ensure its accuracy from NPI to MP and prepare the SOP for NPI.
- Provide assembly training for trainers.
- Review and approve the WI/SOP revisions from IE team.
- Review and implement the ECNs related to Mechanical parts.
- Handle other job duties as assigned from manager.
- **Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical engineer
- 2~5 Years’ experience as mechanical engineer with similar manufacturing industry.
- Good skills in 3D design concept development, 2D development drawings (CAD/NX, Solid works)
- Manufacturing knowledge of various mechanical manufacturing process: Mold/Tool development, ZN/AL diecasting, Plastic injection molding, stamping, machining, plating, painting, assembly etc.
- Strong understanding on manufacturing drawings & drawing standards & BOM.
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
- Good knowledge on PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Lean practices
- Good analytical, mathematical, troubleshooting skills for technical issues, and problem-solving ability
- Good teamwork and communication
- Good verbal & written communication skills on English.
- Korean and/or Chinese language skill is an advantage.
