**About us**:
Damen Song Cam Shipyard Co., Ltd (DSCS) is a joint venture between Damen Workboats in the Netherlands (70%) and Song Cam Shipyard (30%), member of SBIC and based in Haiphong, Vietnam. At a 42 hectares site just outside Haiphong, Damen Song Cam is a strategic and preferred production location within the Damen Workboats to produce tug
- and workboats up to 60 meters. At the moment the shipyard is a dedicated outfitting shipyard: up to 45 hulls are procured from our partner shipyards. DSCS is performing outfitting, commissioning and delivery to clients worldwide. The strategy to grow is successful. Growth in volume, expanding the product portfolio, expanding other maritime activities (services, supervision) within the group.

The technical department consists of03 departments: Supply Chain Department, Material management Department, Technical Support Department. The technical department is primarily responsible for all support activities securing the timely delivery of information for an undisturbed and efficient production of high quality vessels.

**The role**:
Customs team leader is responsible for leading the customs team to achieve target of the team in import and export activities in DSCS.

**Key accountabilities**:

- **Responsible for**Yearly Customs report**:

- Responsible for Yearly Customs report
- Responsible for making and realizing the planning import & export activities in line with the portfolio planning of the company
- Responsible for operating and improving SAP system - Customs related function
- Responsible for building the budget and managing the approved budget
- Responsible for Customs staff management
- **Assign right staff to do the right work at the right time**:

- _Update overview and follow up status of all import/export shipments.
- Prepare docs perfectly for declaration.
- Prepare customs dossiers: processing, commercial, non-commercial, manufacturing export,submit them at the destination Customs office for clearance.
- Take responsibility of exporting newly built vessels, re-exporting materials upon the principle's request
- Follow up with team all related docs and payment request to Finance Dept. monthly.
- Arrange paperwork for taking goods at port.
- Inform related Dept. for arrival notice of shipments.
- Follow the pre-purchase goods at Viettrans bonded warehouse
- Arrange appropriate trucking of the goods to the appointed site, empty container return.
- Inform relevant parties for prompt plans of unloading and storing the goods as soon as the goods are customs-cleared,.
- Approve purchase requisition for all operational service
- Make the annual report for processing goods in time
- Manage the bonded store material of DSGo
- Support DWB with transport, import - export and legal formalities in Asia
- **Measure the performance and productivity of the team and each individual, adjust when necessary to achieve the target as well as the efficiency.**:

- **Assist the manager and management team with import/export related issues/suggestions**:

- **Develop the import/export procedures for each formality in assistance to the HSEQ manager and Supply Chain manager.**:
**Skills & experience**:
**_- Education: _**:

- University Bachelor Degree
- Very good 4 English skills

**_- Experience: _**:

- 5 year experience in import and export activities
- Specific SAP S/4 HANA knowledge is a plus
- Accounting experience is a plus
