**ABOUT US**:
Damen Song Cam Shipyard Co., Ltd (DSCS) is a joint venture between Damen Workboats in the Netherlands (70%) and Song Cam Shipyard (30%), member of SBIC and based in Haiphong, Vietnam. At a 42 hectares site just outside Haiphong, Damen Song Cam is a strategic and preferred production location within the Damen Workboats to produce tug
- and workboats up to 60 meters. At the moment the shipyard is a dedicated outfitting shipyard: up to 45 hulls are procured from our partner shipyards. DSCS is performing outfitting, commissioning and delivery to clients worldwide. The strategy to grow is successful. Growth in volume, expanding the product portfolio, expanding other maritime activities (services, supervision) within the group.

Supply chain department complete local and independent supply chain control serving DSCS and Damen-global needs at high standards. Good operating purchase and material coordination department that control flow of materials to support all its internal clients (production, projects, facility, etc.) the most efficient way at the lowest possible cost all and meeting Damen quality standards.

Custom team implement import and export activity in the most optimal cost **.**

**SCOPE OF THE JOB**

Customs staffs have responsibility to implement & operate import and export activity at the request of the Authorities, responsibility to transport the commodity/ship from port to site and contrary.

The operation is done after vendors qualification & benchmark is done by purchase team in cooperation with customs team, to assure the best service supply vendor who can provide the service with the best quality, fastest time, at the lowest cost.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**In charge of Customs report**
- Monthly check inventory transaction
- Review scrap list from warehouse, co-work with supplier/ Customs to do scrap and align with Customs report
- Review BOM periodically
- Take part in making Customs report

**Customs declaration**
- Closely check and follow up status of import shipments and priorities according to the arrival date to avoid any arising costs.
- Lodge the import declaration form with Customs through ECUS.
- Prepare customs dossiers of various import formalities (processing, commercial, non-commercial, investment) - Obtain delivery orders and container deposits from the shipping lines upon goods arrival
- Co-work with forwarder for booking, submitting documents

**Other contributions**
- Develop the import/export procedures for each formality
- Assist the management board with import/export related issues/suggestions
- Review Customs regulation compliance and report to manager periodically
- Proceed with all internal and external payments with relevant parties (Finance dept., shipping lines, trucking agent, freight forwarder, terminals,...)

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**: College or upper in related major

**Experience**:01 experience year in Customs/forwarder/warehouse of manufacturing company.
