Our team in Vietnam is looking for a **Junior Chief Accountant**, who will take care of accounting and tax matters in Vietnam. He/she will provide advice, counsel, and execute accounting and tax compliance for the Vietnam office.

**Location**:143 Le Quang Dinh Street, Ward 14, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City (Onsite or Hybrid)

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all accounting transactions and bookkeeping under VAS (VAT compliance), reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and submit reports on FIE (Foreign-Invested Enterprises).
- Manage and monitor accounting procedures for compliance with local Tax authorities and coordinate and facilitate external audit requirements.
- Prepare budget and rolling forecasts, and report variances, including operational metrics and KPIs.
- Assist in providing information, reports, data and answers to the designated auditor for preparation of annual financial statement reports.
- Publish and report financial statements in time.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, manage balance sheets, cash flow and profit/loss statements.
- Report on the company’s financial health, performance and liquidity.
- Manage and enforce company policies regarding petty cash, capital requirements, assets disposals, acquisitions and tracking, expenses, etc.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
- Assist the Director of Finance with tasks related to the American accounting operation, ie. billing, collections and AR reporting, AP, sales commissions, and improvement of internal controls and processes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or relevant.
- 5-10 years of work experience in general accounting.
- Excellent knowledge of Vietnam accounting standards (VAS), regulations and procedures.
- Having a chief accountant certificate is a must.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in English.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
