Talentnet's client is looking for
Chief Accountant
will oversee all accounting, tax, and financial reporting activities of the company. This position plays a strategic role in supporting the CEO with financial insights, system improvements, and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and efficient workflow systems.
  • Partner with the CEO to provide strategic financial advice and business recommendations.
  • Oversee all tax-related matters, including compliance, planning, and risk management.
  • Drive digital transformation and system enhancement initiatives, including ERP/accounting software upgrades (e.g., Bravo, Fast, or similar).
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and international best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 8–10 years of accounting experience in Retail or Manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in taxation, accounting systems, and financial controls.
  • Proven experience in system implementation or transformation projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Bravo, Fast, or similar accounting software.
  • Possess professional qualifications such as Chief Accountant Certificate, ACCA, or CPA.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • High integrity, leadership, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good command of English
