Chief Accountant
is responsible for leading and managing the entire accounting and financial operations of Networld Asia Group and its subsidiaries. This role ensures compliance with local regulations, provides accurate financial reporting, and supports strategic decision-making through strong financial analysis and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

A. Accounting & Financial Management

  • Organize, operate, and oversee the full accounting system of the Group and all subsidiaries.
  • Develop, update, and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of all accounting records and reporting activities.

B. Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and be accountable for:
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements
  • Consolidated Group Financial Reports (if applicable)
  • Management reports for BOD/C-level reviews
  • Ensure timely and compliant tax filings (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT, etc.).
  • Work closely with tax authorities, external auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory bodies.

C. Cost Control & Financial Efficiency

  • Analyze costs, cash flow, financial KPIs, and profitability across business units.
  • Provide recommendations to optimize expenses, improve margins, and enhance financial performance.
  • Monitor and control monthly/quarterly budgets for all entities within the Group.

D. Cash Flow & Debt Management

  • Oversee, monitor, and forecast short-term and long-term cash flow.
  • Manage AR/AP, credit terms, and debt collection.
  • Liaise with banks on credit facilities, guarantees, and banking operations.

E. Taxation & Legal Compliance

  • Supervise all tax preparation, filing, and settlement processes.
  • Provide tax planning recommendations while ensuring full compliance with laws.
  • Update management on new regulations and provide guidance on potential impacts.

F. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, train, and supervise the accounting team across entities.
  • Assign tasks, evaluate performance, and develop team capabilities.
  • Work with HR on staffing, structure, and competency building.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related fields.
  • Certified Chief Accountant (required under Vietnam regulations).
  • Preferably holding international certifications such as ACCA or CPA.
  • Minimum
    5–7 years of accounting experience
    , with at least
    2–3 years in a Chief Accountant or similar leadership role
    .
  • Experience in group/company consolidation is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience working with tax authorities, auditors, and banks.
  • Strong knowledge of VAS, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and financial planning skills.
  • Proficient with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
