The Business Manager drives the growth, profitability, and strategic direction of the Automotive Coatings business in Vietnam. This includes leading the commercial team, managing key customer relationships (OEM and Auto Parts), developing local market strategies, and aligning execution with our local and global priorities. **Key Responsibilities**: - Develop the Vietnam Automotive Coatings business plan aligned with regional strategy - Maintain and expand share with existing customers meanwhile to identify and capture new opportunities in OEM, Auto parts, and new mobility segments, especially China and local customers. - Negotiate contracts, manage tenders, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention. - Analyze P&L, pricing, and cost-to-serve to ensure sustainable profitability and productivity. - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer insights to inform strategy. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, chemistry, or related field; MBA is a plus - Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in coatings, automotive, or chemical industries, with at least 5 years of experience in leadership roles - Experience with automotive market dynamics and customer networks in Vietnam. - P&L management experience and key account management - Negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills - Fluent in English and Vietnamese; Mandarin fluency is preferred. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every single day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** **We are "One PPG" to the world.** **We trust our people every day, in every way.** **We make it happen.** **We run it like we own it.** **We do better today than yesterday - everyday.** - Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process._ PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
