**POSITION PURPOSE**

Execute and control purchasing activities in Ad-hoc requests from Business Users in compliance with the procurement policy & procedures and procurement KPIs. Focusing area is purchasing tasks related to marketing activities.

**AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet the company’s quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to optimize pricing, quality, and service levels.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while mitigating risks to the organization.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, pricing dynamics, and supplier capabilities to inform purchasing decisions and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Procurement Process Improvement: Continuously improve procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, especially the marketing team, to understand their purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
- Supplier Performance Management: Monitor supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), addressing any issues or concerns to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, proactively addressing supply chain disruptions and implementing contingency plans as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations governing procurement activities.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Line Manager.

**POSITION SPECIFICATIONS**

- Bachelor’s degree, Major in Commercial, Economics, Business Administration, Supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, with a track record of success in sourcing and vendor management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
- English communication proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Computer literacy in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point )
- Able to do multi-tasks and prioritize tasks consistent with business objectives
