- JOB SUMMARY:
- Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments, and minimizing overdue accounts.
- Required regular customer visits.
- Have Comprehensive knowledge of the agrochemical industry, including C1 and C2.
- Possess strong character, the ability to work independently, and be prepared to travel extensively across the country.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 1. Accounts Receivable Management:
- Implement strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debts.
- Regularly review customer accounts and payment histories.
2. Customer Engagement:
- Conduct regular visits to customers to remind them of outstanding payments and push for timely settlements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate smooth payment processes.
- Proactively identify potential future challenges for our products and come up with strategies to address those
challenges.
- 3. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with Area Sales Managers to coordinate payment collections and address overdue accounts.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Country Head on accounts receivable status and any issues arising.
4. Industry Knowledge:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the agrochemical industry, including key C1 and C2
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and customer behaviors that may impact payment
patterns.
- REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Overall, 5-10 years of experience;
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in the agrochemical or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of the agrochemical market, including knowledge of C1 and C2.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong character and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Humanity and Psychometric Insight: Ability to discern when to be assertive and when to be empathetic in interactions with customers.
- Travel: Be prepared to travel extensively across the country to meet with customers and stakeholders.
