Accountable for managing the whole credit lifecycle of the portfolio of retail secured loans.
- Create and maintain credit standards and procedures to satisfy the retail secured lending overall risk appetite. Ensure that credit policies and practices adhere to regulatory and group standards and are competitive in the market.
- Actively work with credit operations (credit initiation, collections, and fraud management) to find ways to improve and automate processes.
- Promote portfolio optimization and company development via efficient credit processing and portfolio policy design.
- Manage relationships with regulators, auditors, suppliers, and other business stakeholders both internally and outside for all facets of the secured loan portfolio.
- Draw attention to any worrying areas or new patterns, such as declining credit quality, market or economic trends, or decreased profitability across all of the portfolios.
- Continue to maintain strict, efficient regulations.

A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is typically required for this position. A master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is often preferred. At least 6+ years of work experience Experience in consumer lending business (such as: credit cards/mortgages & auto lending/unsecured lending) is a advantage Knowledge of analytical or data manipulation tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, etc.) Proficiency in MS Office. The ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external parties is critical to the success of the credit program management. Strong written and verbal communication in English Have strong analytical skills to identify problems, evaluate risks, and develop solutions.
