Operational Risk Manager

We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow, and Succeed. - Provide additional independent challenge, expertise, oversight, assistance and scrutiny of non-IT operational risk management. - Guide the first Line of Defense ("LoD") to implement PVA Risk Management Framework, operational risk management policies, risk identification, assessment and reporting processes; **Responsibilities**: **-**Effectively coordinate with all departments of the first LoD as assigned & other key stakeholders to ensure PVA risk management framework, Operational Risk Management policies, risk identification, assessment and reporting processes are properly carried out**;***: - Departmental Risk Register: is promptly kept up with the state of business and measured by appropriate key risk indicators;***: - Incident reporting: is timely escalated and adequately remedied.***: - GGM Exemption & Breaches: all non-compliance with Corporate Governance Manual and significant control deficiencies are fully and comprehensively declared.***: - Scenario Analysis: economic capital reserve is calculated promptly with the precise parameters used** **-**Conduct reviews and assessments of the risk taking activities of the first LoD, where appropriate challenges are made to the internal controls being taken to manage risks;** **-**Conduct the ad-hoc reviews/analysis to address PVA/Group Management's concern on the risk aspects of the Company;** **-**Perform the risk initiatives to promote the risk awareness culture.** **- Reporting**: - Timely escalate all operational risk issues to the appropriate levels (Senior Operational Risk Manager, Head of Operational & Enterprise Risk Manager, CRO, TLT, Group Risk Function) after verification with the relevant departments;***: - Timely submit all risk exercises deliverables to Group Risk Function as per Group requirements;** **- Others**: - Proactively look for better ways to improve the effectiveness of the risk management activities;***: - Other tasks to be assigned by the Line manager, Head of Operational & Enterprise Risk Manager or Company's management (if any).** **Job Accountability** **This role is to**: **- Risk Management awareness: Maintain and uphold risk awareness to staff at all levels, including providing technical training to raise risk awareness of all staffs, and enhanced training to risk coordinators, risk reviewers and risk owners** **- Timely complete the risk deliverables as Group Risk requirements;** **- Ensure business activities of Company within PVA Risk Framework and Operational Risk Management policies;** **Job Requirements** **Qualifications / Bằng cấp** **Mandatory**: **- Bachelor degree in economics or finance, accounting and auditing.** **- Good awareness of Enterprise Risk Management.** **Advantage**: **- Degree qualified, with a relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CIA, CPA.** **Experience** **Mandatory**: **- 5- 6 year relevant experience internal audit/external audit roles or operational risk management** **Advantage**: **- Experience in financial services industry.** **Language** **- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English;** Job ID 24080456
