**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Plan & implement the Sales mode & target to branches across country
- Plan recruitment for RSM/ ASM / SM, AM & ICS in time and always maintain approved headcount across the sales hierarchy
- Field communication
- Field force behavior as per Company value
- Develop Field Managers
- Design and seek approval on the independent Direct agent policy including contract, incentives, commissions, sales process, policy submissions, MIS reporting of the Direct agents,
- Design and seek approval of the Direct Agent business plan including manpower, Revenue, product mix
- Achieve the quarterly and annual business plan in terms of manpower, activation, productivity, quality and revenue through adequate strategies and action plans
- Proactively manage the leads, appointments, presentations and formalization of proposals of the Direct agents
- Carry out regular formal and informal coaching and training of the Direct agents
- Keep informed on regulatory changes that could impact sales pitch, sales process and training requirements.
- Active involvement in, and contribution to, the business unit planning and budgeting activities, in collaboration with the CDO.
- Manage expenses within budget and according to company policy and procedures
- Work proactively with other departments and functions to resolve issues and make the products and proposals attractive for the Direct Channel and to maximize impact of independent direct agent on company results
- Ensure field force possess required knowledge and skills. Coordinate with training department to provide appropriate and up to date training to the agency force for them to carry on their tasks as per company profitability and customer centricity targets
- Set target for persistency; execute/monitor plans; collaborate with other teams to drive persistency; define risk metrics, set threshold, monitor the progress, and take actions to improve; check the progress and report the status on a regular basis; work with compliance team to monitor and take actions; manage any regulatory matters; handle internal/external audits regarding agency
- Recruit and develop agency leads for north and south
- Establish a management process to ensure effective follow up on agency performance and identification/implementation of corrective actions to ensure attainment of targets
- Ensure high quality, reliable and compliant services to customers
