**Job description**:
**Purpose of the role**

**What will you do?**
- Build the most advanced logistics marketplace platform, connecting shippers to drivers.
- Build scalable products and solutions used by millions of users.
- Participate in the product development and architectural vision of our logistics platform.
- Collaborate with Design, Product Managers, and Stakeholders to design solutions to solve real-life logistics problems encountered by our large community of users and drivers, lowering shipping costs while creating jobs and income for our drivers.
- Supervise a team, guide and mentor them, and develop their technical career progression.
- Participate in the recruitment and growth of the team.
- Ensure the quality of the team's deliverables.
- Set standards of coding, development, unit testing, and deployment for company products.

**Your skills and experience**:
**Must have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in Software backend development.
- Experience with enterprise system architectures.
- Solid experience with.Net but willing to work on other backend languages such as Ruby, Golang.
- Experience with building RESTful API, and defining Micro-Services.
- Proficiency with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with cloud services: AWS or Azure or Google Cloud
- Experience with developing and architecting scalable systems, SOA, or microservices.

**Nice to have**:

- Strong understanding of system performance and scaling.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Experience in Golang/Ruby will be a strong advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
