Logistics Specialist

This is your opportunity to become part of the worlds’ fastest growing sports company. We are looking for a Logistics Specialist joining our team, who will be in charge of ensuring on-time container loading, booking and shipment; and ensuring strict compliance of our manufacturing partners.

**Your Mission**:

- Manage our manufacturing partners to ensure on time container loading, booking and shipment
- Manage our manufacturing partners to ensure strict compliance following Shipping Instructions
- Support Freight team in managing forwarder origin performance & relationship
- Support Freight Team with Implementation of new forwarder at origin
- Resolve daily operational issues between manufacturing partner and forwarder.
- Collaborate with Zurich Freight Planning & Distributor teams to keep the Shipping Instruction up to date & accurate
- Collaborate with Custom teams to provide the right instruction to manufacture partners related to HS code, COO, etc.
- Contribute in shortening of origin transportation lead-time
- Contribute in company projects related to Logistics & Warehouse
- Standardize the outbound process to avoid risk of mismatch inbound volume at final destination
- Be a reliable bridge between production & other transportation teams with on time & transparent information sharing
- Master the internal system to support manufacturing partners when needed
- Building the SOP, workflow & processes to improve the work efficiency among the teams and forwarders.

**Your story**:

- A degree from an accredited university with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, logistics, planning, supply chain, information systems, or operations; MBA is a plus
- +7 years of work experience in global transport operations ideally in an apparel/fashion global supply chain management or freight forwarding/carrier industry. Additional supply chain experience in other areas such as, procurement, sourcing, supply planning, and warehousing is an asset
- Excellent English language proficiency; multilingual abilities in other languages is an advantage
- Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under very limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines
- Extensive knowledge and experience in all modes of Transport ie. Airfreight, Sea Freight, Truck, Courier etc.
- Expertise in effectively managing Logistics Service providers
- Team player, resourceful, high degree of self-management, enthusiasm and drive to perform
- Able to drive resolution amongst various parties in a professional, constructive and diplomatic manner
- Proficiency in MS Excel is a must
- Passion to work with an international team and strong cross-cultural environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and in writing, to interact effectively and efficiently with different teams/stakeholders
- Strong analytical, structured and data driven mindset
